Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation with the European Union and France

The Minister for Homeland Security and Civil Affairs, Mr. James Camille, welcomed H.E. Mr. Oskar Benedikt, Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Seychelles, accompanied by Mrs. Anne Tallineau, Ambassador of France in the Republic of Seychelles, for a courtesy call last week.

The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm the strong partnership between Seychelles, the European Union, with discussions centred on ongoing bilateral cooperation, shared security priorities, and avenues to enhance collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

Minister Camille expressed appreciation for the continued support of both the EU and France, highlighting the importance of sustained engagement with Seychelles especially in areas of maritime security.
