Promotion ceremony of two Police Officers to the rank of Chief Superintendent
The Ministry of Homeland Security and Civil Affairs held a ceremony to honour the promotion of Superintendent Aubrey Quatre and Assistant Superintendent Joseph Bibi to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), which took effect on June 12th 2026.
The Minister of Homeland Security and Civil Affairs Mr. James Camille congratulated both officers on this achievement, recognising their dedication, professionalism and many years of committed service to the Seychelles Police Force and the nation. He wished them continued success as they assume their increased responsibilities.
In his remarks, the Commissioner of Police Godfra Hermitte highlighted the importance of discipline, professionalism and exemplary leadership within the Police Force. He emphasised that promotion to the rank of Chief Superintendent carries not only greater responsibility but also the expectation to lead by example, uphold the highest standards of integrity and inspire confidence among officers and the public alike.
Chief Superintendent Aubrey Quatre has been appointed Head of Specialised Services, while Chief Superintendent Joseph Bibi will continue to serve as Adjutant to the Commissioner of Police.The Ministry of Homeland Security and Civil Affairs joins the Commissioner of Police in extending its sincere congratulations to both officers and wishes them every success as they continue to serve and protect the people of Seychelles.
