Courtesy Call with Ambassador Moustache-Belle
Ambassador Jacqueline Moustache-Belle paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Homeland Security and Civil Affairs, Mr. James Camille yesterday, for constructive discussions on potential areas of diplomatic cooperation and future engagement.
The meeting was also attended by the Principal Secretary for Civil Affairs, Mr. Allain Volcere, and the Principal Secretary for Homeland Security, Ms. Sheryl Venagdasamy. Both officials outlined their departments’ priorities, strategic objectives, and key areas where partnerships and collaboration could further strengthen the Ministry’s work and long-term vision.
Discussions focused on the development of sustainable frameworks and long-term partnerships to support the Ministry’s strategic goals, particularly in the areas of capacity building, technology-driven solutions, specialised training, and institutional strengthening. Emphasis was placed on the importance of smart and efficient systems that promote continuity, enhance operational effectiveness, and support the delivery of modern, responsive public services.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to advancing initiatives that contribute to the safety and security of Seychelles. Ambassador Moustache-Belle was accompanied by Mr. Hervé Pool, Second Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora.
